Arts And Rhymes Presents The #DashToDine Art Show Featuring VEW
After honing his skills on the sides of subway cars and tunnels unlawfully, VEW, a graffiti artist from NYC who is likely high up on the Vandal Squad’s most wanted list, did something legal: He opened a pop-up exhibit on Friday at a Bushwick burger joint.
Curated by creative collective Arts and Rhymes, all the new work — done with spray paint and acrylics on canvas — spelled out VEW’s three letter moniker in brilliantly colored shapes and forms. The pieces ranged in price from $125 to $250, which is a bargain. Fellow writers such as NEG, YORK, LEX, ASER, GIGS, COL and SEND HELP were in attendance, passing around black books to tag.
